  • Leanne Bell-DeVries
    Kinesiologist (Regulated)

    Speaks: English

    Leanne graduated from York University with a Specialized Honours degree in Kinesiology and Health Science and a Certificate in Athletic Therapy. She is a Registered Kinesiologist and Certified Athletic Therapist.

    In addition to working with individuals so they achieve their rehabilitation goals, Leanne also performs functional capacity evaluations and ergonomic assessments.



  • Kuntalbahen Patel
    Physiotherapist

    Speaks: English, Hindi, Gujarati

    Kuntalbahen completed her Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from Krupanidhi college of Physiotherapy in Banglore, India in 2009. She has 8 years of experience as a physiotherapist in an orthopaedic and multidisciplinary clinic in India.

    She is happy to join the Petrolia Physiotherapy team as a Registered Physiotherapist after successfully completing my Canadian licensing exam. Her main passion is helping people recover from injuries and improve their quality of life. She takes a compassionate and holistic approach to treatment, focusing on your individual needs and goals.

    In her free time, she likes to spend time with her family, and enjoys travelling and cooking.

Clinic Information

Our Philosophy

Your journey through our clinic matters at every step. Here is a breakdown of what you can expect:

First, our front desk team will set you up to complete your paperwork. They will ensure a smooth transition to our therapists.

Second, our Registered Physiotherapists will provide a thorough assessment to explain why you are in pain. They will work with you to establish goals that matter to you, and develop a plan on how they can guide you there. They will contact your physician to keep them connected to your physiotherapy experience.

Third, exercise is a core component in every treatment plan because we strongly believe that movement (exercise, stretching, advice) empowers you to live your life the way you see fit. We want to facilitate the life of movement you believe in. Our experienced Registered Kinesiologist will often facilitate a lot of these sessions, with oversight from the Registered Physiotherapists. 

Fourth, we use other modalities to manage pain, restore movement, and quicken your recovery. These include manual therapy, acupuncture, bracing, thermotherapy (heat), cyrotherapy (cold), ultrasound, and TENS. 

Fifth, along the way we serve as a liason for your care; whether its WSIB, OHIP, or a Motor Vehicle Accident, or other medical specialists, we are here to help. 

Lastly, we discharge you, most often with goals attained. We send a final discharge letter or report to your physician.

The Clinic

Petrolia Physiotherapy - pt Health is a multidisciplinary rehabilitiation facility located in the plaza with Coffee Lodge, M&M Meat Shop, and Lambton Audiology.

We have two private treatment rooms along with a common gym area hosting an abundance of rehab exercise equipment. We also have five more treatment tables, a treadmill, two bikes, and a other exercise equipment essentials ready to facilitate your care.

Our Registered Physiotherapist is internationally trained with a variety of acute medical experience and primary care experience, including an on-call respiratory physiotherapist in the United Kingdom.  

Our Registered Massage Therapists have delivered excellent care at our clinic for many years. One is trained in Manual Lymphatic Drainage.

Our Registered Kinesiologist has more than 15 years of experience treating patients at this clinic.

Our administrative team are key members in facilitating a smooth patient journey. We would not run smoothly without them!

Your treatment may be partially or fully covered if you have extended health benefits, a worker's compensation claim, or were injured in a motor vehicle accident.
