Aqeela Markand
PhysiotherapistSpeaks: English, French, Punjabi, Urdu, HindiAqeela is a dual Physiotherapy license holder in Ontario and Quebec (2021). She has completed the University of Toronto bridging Program (2015), and holds a PTA diploma from Mohawk College (2000).
An internationally educated physiotherapist, Aqeela has experience in treating and working with patients with neurological, musculoskeletal and geriatric conditions, work injuries, recovery from motor vehicle accidents, sports injuries and post-surgical recovery.
Aqeela has completed further education in concussion care, rectus diastasus (lower back/ pelvic pain), incontinence issues, pediatrics, K- Taping, bracing, and cupping.
Raymond Andrew de Souza
Massage TherapistSpeaks: EnglishRaymond Andrew "Andy" is a certified athletic therapist and Registered Massage Therapist.
He received his degree in Applied Health Sciences - Athletic Therapy from Sheridan College and a diploma in massage therapy from the Ontario College of Health and Technology.
Andy has extensive experience working with athletes of all levels from children, to professionals, masters and weekend warriors. His practice also extends to the general population where Andy has worked for years in interdisciplinary clinics collaborating with other health care professionals to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
He uses thorough assessments and history taking to uncover the root causes of conditions, the uses evidence-informed manual therapies, assisted stretches, and specific exercise programs to get you back in action—or to help you relieve stress and find deep relaxation.
