    Amber Geisbrecht is a Registered Massage Therapist at pt Health. She grew up in Winnipeg, and completed her 2200 hour course from The Massage Therapy College of Manitoba in January of 2009. Amber enjoys working with sports injuries, among many other things, but a special highlight in her career was working with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. She was able to gain significant experience working with sports-related injuries during this time and met some fabulous football players too!

    Amber has taken several continuing education classes, and treats all areas of the body for injury, maintenance, or to simply just feel great! On her spare time, she enjoys snowboarding, playing soccer, and traveling.

    Sarah graduated in 2015 from the 2200hr Massage Therapy Diploma program at Eastern College in Saint John, NB and then began her career in Massage Therapy in Calgary, AB in a multidisciplinary clinic and worked part time at a private Massage Therapy college as a first and second year instructor. Sarah established her own Massage therapy and Fitness practice in Calgary and is now starting her new journey here in Nova Scotia! Sarah is registered with the Massage Therapy Association of Nova Scotia.

    Sarah has been working in the fitness and therapeutic health industry for 26 years as a Registered Massage Therapist, Personal Trainer, and Group Fitness Instructor.

    Sarah specializes in therapeutic massage, sports massage, orthopedic treatments, older adult and pediatric populations, pre/post-operative, pre/post-natal massage, myofascial cupping, lymphatic drainage, remedial exercise, and orthopedic assessment.

    Sarah can help you with common conditions such as Fibromyalgia, migraines, TMJ Dysfunction (jaw pain), Frozen shoulder, carpel tunnel syndrome, golfer/tennis elbow, arthritis, foot conditions, hip and knee pain, sciatic nerve pain, degenerative disc disease, and many more.

    She is a certified Oncology Massage Therapist and specializes in massage treatment during all stages of cancer.

    Sarah will assess and provide a solutions-focused treatment and remedial exercise plan to help you feel better, move better, and improve your overall well-being.

    Sarah graduated from the University of New Brunswick in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. In 2012, Sarah graduated from Dalhousie’s School of Physiotherapy with her Master degree.

    In order to provide her clients with quality, client-centered care, Sarah continued her education in the fields of exercises essentials, Tai Chi a System of Balance, non-internal Pelvic Health and Cognitive Behavioural and Acceptance and Commitment therapies.

    Sarah uses a variety of treatment techniques in her daily practice, incorporating exercise prescription, manual therapy and pain science education in order to assist her client meet a their varying health and wellness goals.

    Outside of work Sarah values her leisure time walking, hiking, doing yoga and spending time her cats.

    Alicia became a massage therapist in 2010, graduating from ICT Northumberland College in Halifax. Growing up with a parent that suffered from chronic pain, Alicia developed an interest in massage and natural healing very early on. Always seeking out better ways to help her clients, family, and herself led her to learning RAPID NeuroFascial Reset in late 2016.

    Since then, Alicia has completed the Upper body, Lower body, and Core training and dedicated her practice to these techniques becoming proficient.

    She is confident in treating complex issues including carpal tunnel syndrome, sciatica, nerve entrapments, TMJ-D, back/neck/shoulder/hip/knee/ankle/foot pain of all kinds, bursitis, tennis/golfers' elbow, whiplash, scar tissues, chronic pain, MVA injuries, headaches and migraines, arthritic joint pain, sports injuries and more.

Our Philosophy

EP Physiotherapy - pt Health, a rehabilitation clinic, serves to assist Eastern Passage residents suffering from a variety of ailments. The team of professionals, including physiotherapists, massage therapists, and acupuncturists, work together to ensure the highest level of care is provided to their clients. Treatment goals include reducing pain, optimizing functionality, and avoiding re-injury in order to help their patients get back on track! In-home treatments and services are also available.
